What We Did
We started by removing the existing flooring to expose the building’s original floorboards. To reduce noise transfer between levels, we installed a silent floor system that integrates sound insulation without compromising structural integrity. We then reinstated and sealed the original floorboards throughout all three floors to preserve the building’s character.
The staircases were sanded, sealed, and finished with brass nosing for safety and aesthetic appeal. The project delivered a seamless blend of restoration and modernisation, tailored to the building’s new purpose while respecting its heritage.
